So Happy Together

A previous customer from eBay had asked me to do a wedding album for her before Christmas, and I had to turn her town. It was just too much stress at Christmas, plus I'm not sure I'm cut out to do custom work. I did promise that I would make another wedding layout for eBay, and she emailed me last week to ask me when. So, I got my rear in gear and made this one. Wish me luck. It's on eBay now.
UPDATE: The gal who had asked me about doing another layout emailed me shortly after this was posted on eBay. She asked what the Buy It Now price would be, and when I emailed her back an amount, she said, "Sold!" I'm so excited!

Happy Birthday David!

A wonderful co-worker is celebrating his birthday on Wednesday. He loves to sing, so I incorporated a little music for him. The inside of the card will say: "Just a 'note' to say Happy Birthday" or something to that effect.

Card for Michael!

I have a friend on my eBay design team who celebrated her birthday yesterday. Her name is Michael (yep, it's a woman). She loves the color red, so I made this card and sent it from the East Coast to the West Coast. She hasn't said anything about it yet, so I'm hoping it got there on time and safely!

5000 Hits! Woo Hoo!

I can't believe it! I've been watching my little blog for the past few days to see if/when I would hit 5000 visits. At 10:30 last night, I was at 4992, so I knew it would be soon. This morning I was at 5008! Yeah, so what if 4,981 of them are me! LOL. Seriously. I can't believe that many people have stopped by for a visit, and I don't even know who most of you are. I'm glad you've stopped by though! In fact, for this one time, I wish a bunch of you would leave a comment and tell me who you are and where you are from. That would be exciting for me. I know -- I could put one of those visitor things on here that would tell me where people are from, but for now, roll down your window and say hello! (I hope that doesn't sound too country, but I am from the South though.) LOL.

No Bones About It . . . You're Cute!

I just love these pictures of Ashlyn (and Joey) at Sticky Fingers last year. She had a blast with a rib bone. I highlighted the picture of her with the bone in her mouth because it just says "cute!"

29 Years

I am NOT old! But yes, I've been married for 29 years. What can I say -- I got married when I was 12. LOL. Seriously, I was 19. Too young to get married! But, we've made it this far!

It was fun doing a one pager with one picture -- very unusual for me, since I'm usually telling a story with my pages, and I have tons of pictures!

Valentine's Day Cards

Card for New Baby!
Card for Hubby --
Card for Ashlyn
Card for Whitney & Jordan
Card for Courtney & Joey

I made 5 Valentine's Day cards last night and finished at 12:30! I should have planned ahead, but have been gone for the past 5 nights, so my behind is draggin' this morning! LOL. I made these for my family -- including the new grandbaby coming in October! Hopefully, my daughter will put his/hers in their scrapbook so they will know how much Mimi loved them already! This is how she told me. They were playing the game "Mad Gab." You have cards with words on them and your partner has to look at the card and say the words fast and figure out what the phrase is. They told me to come and help one of them figure out a phrase because it was very easy and he couldn't get it. There was a card with "Corn Knees Pre Egg Gnat." If you say that really fast, it's Courtney's Pregnant. My son-in-law who is a graphic designer took one of the cards, scanned it in, changed the words, and printed it on chipboard, and it looked exactly like a card from the game. I was so confused because I couldn't figure out how that was in the game that I didn't jump up and down and scream. After a minute or so he yelled, "Well, that didn't go like I planned." We had a good laugh. It was a wonderful way to tell me! Thanks for letting me share.

Sweet on You -- 2nd time around!

This layout didn't sell on eBay as a one page layout, so I re-did it and made it into a two page layout. Keep your fingers crossed that it sells!

The Secret of Staying Young . . .

I made this card tonight for my sweet mother-in-law who is turning 69 on Saturday. She LOVES red, and she's always said she was 39 years old, even when my husband (her son) was 39 or older), so this sentiment was perfect for her. The inside says: "to live honestly, eat slowly, and lie about your age. Lucille Ball"

I used three of the new Cuttlebug folders on this card, and love them!

Paisley, distressed stripe (hard to see -- black behind heart and tag), and Swiss dot -- all great!

Box of Fun

My granddaughter was afraid to get in this box (the box my husband's Shop Vac came in on his birthday), so my youngest daughter got in. Of course they had fun with it and then she had a hard time getting out! Thus, this page was born.

Have Your Cake . . .

And eat it too! That's what this card for my dear father-in-law says. I whipped it up in a hurry tonight between Super Bowl commercials. LOL.

One Cute Easter Chick

I have worked on this layout ALL weekend. I started on it at a crop with a friend on Saturday. I probably worked on it 4 hours there. Then I came home and worked on it another 3 hours on Saturday night and finished it up today after working on it another 2-3 hours. I do love how it turned out, but if this layout doesn't get several bids, I know I will be disappointed. I always am, but I did the cute little animals (or I think they are cute), and put so much time into it. I really wish I could scrapbook faster, but I can't! I cut and re-cut and sometimes even re-cut!

I hope you like it!
